Good communication and friendly manager. Spacious apartment. Recommended.
No central heating. Airco units are used for heating but this is not sufficient in the winter.

The room was quiet, the traffic of the street did not reach us.
It was cold in these days and the heating system was not adequate to this unusual situation. There was a problem of transparency: we booked online at Lincoln Suites, but the sign on the street says “Art Lincoln” and the sign upstairs, on the second floor, reads “Palermo Art”. Upon arrival we were asked to pay immediately the entire price. We pulled out a credit card ( an email from Booked.net was clear about the hotel acceptance of Visa, Mastercard, etc.), but they really wanted cash. We did not have 300 euros in our wallets, so we promised to go promptly to an atm, only to discover that in Palermo all the ATMs work only during office hours (in the evening and early in the morning the machines let you do all the operations, pin number, amount etc. and finally you are told that there is no cash available at the time – we tried with different amounts, different atm tellers, and different cards). So, next day, instead of taking a day trip to another town, as we had scheduled, we remained in Palermo to get cash during bank office hours. We knew from an email that breakfast was not available (so much for the second “b” of “b&b”), but then one day, meeting occasionally the receptionist on the corridor, we were told that if we wanted we could have a complimentary breakfast after 8:00am. The reception is not open all the time: you get the keys, plenty of advise on the city, whether you need it or not, and then you are on your own.
